I read about this pattern on an article that I stumbled across about honey creek in mifflin County, and I can't seem to find a recipe, or even a picture. Does anyone tie this fly?

Nice find, BH. Looks like tying woven flies, the latest and greatest method is really old news (the article appeared in the mag in 1973) and Clayton Peters has been tying and fishing it since the 1940's on Penn's Creek. :)

I'm more interested in how to browse their archives, as I don't seem to spot a link on the main PFBC link.

My google search for "Clayton Peter's woven perla stonefly nymph" only comes up with links to PAFF (this thread...lol) and plugging it in to the Google search on the PFBC site (like G mentioned above) doesn't come up with that article either.

see if this works

Actually, I just didn't look close enough...
http://www.fish.state.pa.us/angon2.htm has the newest years listed, but at the bottom is a picture that says "legacy issues."

Back to the '30s. Now I have something to do besides watch porn on the Internet.

Nice beadhead2! I googled for a few minutes, but never came up with that pdf. I was starting to think that it was one of those rare pieces of information that may not actually *be* on the Internet!
