I was thinking of fishing Clark Creek on Monday. Any ideas as to flies this time of year. Supposed to be in the high 30's.

I would assume midges. I've only fished there a few times.

For subsurface, try a black bugger or a prince in a 16. Look for moving water..........Good luck in you go.........

wooly booger, green weenie or an egg fly.

or a weighted buggy looking soft hackle, fished dead and on down thru the swing. give 'em a tasty looking, easy to eat morsel, it's cold outside.

That water will be very cold and I doubt you will see any insect activity at all. Fish low and slow....nymphs, little streamers and nymphs.

PT's, HE's, and GW's...

Drove by it today on an adventure to other places... looked pretty frozen over in a lot of areas.

Sucks this time of year because you never know what conditions you'll encounter until you get there. Looking forward to the warmer months.
