Had a nice dinner at Big Fish and saw rises and a jumper in the river at dusk. Anyone know what is there to be caught?

My bet is that it would be easier to list the common river species that you can’t or are much less likely to catch there and it probably also depends where the salt line is located, which would be based on freshwater inflow rates.

Yeah, could be pretty much anything: sunnies, white perch, yellow perch, carp, bass, rockfish, maybe even bluefish or others that wander out of the salt at this time of year.

Only thing I can say pretty much for certain: not trout.
