I would bet the nymphs are good, but I'd be curious to see how they drift.

I wouldn't make any bets on the dries until I saw them cast without twisting the tippet into a knot. :lol:

I'm still fairly new to this, but I have read a lot on the topic of realistic vs. imitative, on this site and others. Dave Hughes writes that, in general, realistic flies lack the natural movement that imitative flies bring. The movement is what "they" say catches the eye of the trout...whoever "they" are!
