CF Burkheimer Rods

I was just wondering if anyone owns or has fished one of Kerry Burkeimers trout rods? Thoughts & opinions? I can find info. / reviews on his spey rods but no luck on the single handers. Thanks

I'm thinking 9' 4 wt. Light nymphing / dry tailwater rod. I don't think he makes a 10 footer.

i know 2 people that waited for almost a year for rods that were going to take "a month"... i think 1 of the dudes is still waiting

these weren't singles... the rods i have seen and the 1 i cast were very nice

I'm guessing they were custom orders? Or do you think they are just that backlogged on all of their shelf rods? I guess thats the downside of ordering through a small rod shop. Kind of like ordering a cane from the boo boys. I got a few replies from a few Aussies on another board and they love them. Those grips and reel seats are f*%#&@# insane.

these were custom rods

the one i cast was some kind of crazy wood for the bottom hand...wow
