I rented a cabin along Honey Creek located in the Bald Eagle State Forest area (East of Milroy PA). Does anyone have current intel on how that creek is doing?

I've been fishing it all summer. It's fishing well. Fish it in the morning. If it's a warm day it'll be in the upper 60s and lower 70s in the morning. Fish honey in the morning and then Tea in the afternoon when things get too hot.

Honey is famous/well-known way, way below the SF. There are trout up there, but when people say they are fishing honey they usually mean the lower water below Alexander Caverns.

Honey actually doesn't hold temp all that well in the summer compared to many other streams. IMO, for this time of year there are better options nearby.
