You may run into some ice. Even though it is warmer, although not warm, the sun seems to be melting the ice, which may make the water colder.
My advice, if you have cabin fever and need to go fishing, is give it a try. Keep your expectations low (that way you can't be disappointed, only elated), and look for springs seepage. Where a srping enters the main water flow, the water temp remains farely consistant, even in the dead of winter. These are charactorised by defrosted banks and silt deposits.
