BWO loop wing emerger

Tied some loop wing BWO emergers for the first time this morning. Actually pretty easy tie compared to how long it can take me to tie other patterns. Tied on a size 16 curved hook with brown antron for a shuck and dubbed body with turkey biot ribbing. CDC wing with some dyed olive fur for the thorax. Looks like it will catch fish but what do you think?

loop should be half the size it is, looks good otherwise

Overall its a nice tie. I agree the loop could be smaller, but don't know if it will matter. If that's not a light wire hook, it should be. Looks good and you will find that is a very effective pattern.

Looks good I agree with the wing being large. I do one similar. I sometimes include a single strand of pearl crystal flash looped around the perimeter of the wing on each side. Fish seem to approve.
