Man the micro pipetting into gel wells on SDS PAGE gels takes me back. I did some research on urea cycle enzymes on pink bread mold in my undergrad biochemistry courses and we used the same technique over and over. PCR has changed alot. Crazy how far they have come because now we actually are looking at ramping up genetic rescues to fight fragmentation of pops as well as using those fish for reintroduction.
