Have an old Green Mt Orvis with about two inches of rod and tip top guide missing. Does anyone know where I can have it repaired locally? (Lancaster area) OR where I can get a properly sized guide so I can repair myself? Thank You

This was a 7ft 9inch 5wt which was like the Orvis Far and Fine. The Orvis Green Mt models did not have a lifetime warranty.

Measure the end, then order one from the Innertubes or stop into Cabela's and pick up a replacement.

You glue it on with the glue that a hot glue gun uses. Just hold the glue stick over a lighter, tap it to the tip and push the replacement down.

If you print this cart on on regular paper, you can line up the end of the rod over the sillohettes and find the proper size: http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/Content/downloads/sizing_chart.pdf

Any fly shop should be able to accommodate you.

Like Gfen said, you can measure and order a replacement for anywhere online.

I have seen decent replacements a Dunhams sporting goods, some even come with a stick of ferrule wax.

Thanks for the help! Now I can add this rod to the arsenal.
