Was fishing in northern Lancaster county this evening and ran into one bright green stonefly. There were some small yellow ones too which I have seen many other places. The green one was the same size as the yellow ones. Anyone know what the green one could have been? I'd like to find out more about them and am curious what the nymphs look like. Unfortunately it flew off before I could even think to get a pic.

Awesome, that's it! Thanks Afishinado

I have used a chartreuse stimulator to match the lime sally and a bright yellow stimulator to match the yellow sally with very good success.

yellow sallies come off here from may through july and the lime sallies end of june through july. down at chaz's cabin there are both.

I saw them both today on medix run

What size do you tie them?

16 & 18

#14, #16 but sparse.
