I don't take credit for this pattern. I have Been talking to a couple of friends in the Erie area. They wanted something that would look like a muskrat.

I got the Idea for the pattern From Ken Capsey from Vermont Fly Guys.

It does take some hair and Some time. I have been using the back part of natural bucktails. The longer the hair the better. it is on a 6/0 hookeyandfly hook

Ken told me that he and a friend were fishing this pattern. His buddy got the fly hung up in the weed or brush. When he flopped it out onto the water it was inhaled by a musky. Can't wait to float this thing.

I really need to perfect the head and add some ears
