That's another nice looking tie, Sandfly.

I don't see any signs of moisture on it, but will take your word for it. What does it look like when it is dry? :)

Please don't think this is criticism of your tie (it looks very fishy), but I think that you may not know what the name of the fly refers to.

"Clock" means "beetle" in the rural UK (and Ireland) and the bracken clock is a specific beetle (Phyllopertha horicola). It looks much like a Japanese beetle without the iridescent green. Here's a link to a picture of one:

Since it's supposed to be an imitative pattern, it's traditionally tied quite full (unlike most North Country patterns):

The red rib is not found in all versions.

 
Yes I knew what it represented, but it works here also. works for some of the beetle larva's here in pa. on the LLH for one.
 
Just thought of the beetle on the LLH. Willow beetle, old age or to much stuff crammed into my Brain ???
