Does anyone have a copy of "The Trout at the Walnut Tree" that they would like to swap for either "Trout Bum" or "Standing in a River Waving a Stick"?

Hey, honest, if you're "desperate" enough to want to read it, I think you can Google it by typing its title. I was curious not too long ago, and I found it for really cheap prices (and one outrageously expensive one, too). It sure isn't the best book about fly-fishing out there and I didn't make much money on it, but it is the only book I ever wrote and got published! Good luck.

Hey Rich....you made the top 5 million!!!..;-)

Not desperate just curious. I have a book I am finishing and one I would like to read before I start on it, but if I don't start looking now I may find myself with an undesired gap in literature.

Csoult- intrested in selling 'Trout Bum'?

Not sure about selling, but would be willing to trade for another book if you have any that you would like to trade.

No sorry I don't have any to trade. I only have a few tying books, and wanted to start getting some literature on the sport.

No I dont have any books on anything else. Not much of a reader unless it's about flyfishing, bird hunting or volkswagens.

never get tired of reading that bentley manual, eh?

wanna buy a vagcom cable?

Csoult:

I'm interested in swapping a book for "Trout Bum"
Here's several that were given to me I'd like to part with:

"Days on the Water" by Mike Sajna
"Fifty Places to Fish Before You Die" - various authors
I also have a fly tying book that would be quite good for a new tyer.

Let me know if any of those interest you.

RRT - I'm curious about "The Trout at The walnut Tree". Is it fishing stories?

Bentley manual is worth it's weight in gold. No need for a vag com cable, I don't have the software to go with it.

dfg -- It is. It has stuff about how I got into fly-fishing, a chapter on marriage (how my wife tolerated me, pretty much), a few on the fishing strategies I then relied on, and even a fictional story called "The First Fly Fisherman," about how a local caveman was really the world's first fly-fisherman. As I said, it's not the greatest book about fly-fishing, but it's the only one I wrote. It certainly wasn't a mercenary venture: I made very little money on it.

rrt -

Well, I'm sure you don't divulge any local fishing information.
But It does sound like an interesting read, and I'll keep my eyes open for it.

I enjoyed reading you articles in PA angler.

Free download!

I don't remember the specifics of the cable I have, I want to call it CAN-USB but I don't think that's right. Later Mk3 and MkIV cars. Free software, the cable is the dongle.
