Nick Lyons has one of the best voices in fishing literature.

His stories are not "my celebrity buddy" stories nor "my expensive and exotic locale" stories, rather quiet tales about chasing browns at summer twilight along an upstate NY stream, or fishiing for stripers beside the regulars along a breaker wall in Manhattan.

Unpretentious and wise, Nick Lyons is one of the best, ever.
