Plenty of lures to be had before they fill it up again. They want to kill the vegetation, fill the lake and empty it again to get rid of the dead crap. Of course, it goes down to the mainstream and has a definite impact on the catch and release section all the way past allenberry.

Driving back from a pipe smoking event in Chambersburg, I took a look and saw Children's Lake had water, looking a bit low if anything. The Run looked a bit low too and had some suckers and trouts. There was one cold looking (26 degrees at 5:00pm) spin guy in the water.

The lake is filled.
I walked the Run today and there is substantial sedimentation from the draw down. However, we have dealt with this before and the junk will flush out.
Many anglers, dog walkers, duck feeders and runners out and about this beautiful day.
