Blind splice loops

I just recently found out this blind splice loop and I have to say it looks sweet does anyone use these

did for years, then just nail knotted a loop of backing to my fly
line large enough for the reel to pass through so I could change lines if necessary. made another loop in the backing.

I just started tying bimmini's for my backing to fly line connection with also making the loop big enough so that I could pass a spool of fly line threw it . But now that I found out about this loop I am going to re-tie them all with the blind splice loop .
