I need some help. I heard they're catching them on the Black stonefly but i and pretty new to tying flies. Does anybody have a easy tutorial for tying the stonefly.

Dry or nymph? Dry I use CDC And Elk. Nymph I tie black pheasant tails. YouTube is your friend.

Depending on the size you want to tie the easiest pattern I use is a deer hair caddis in black. Tie the body thin, use black thread,and the darkest deer hair you have on your deer skin. Finish with black hackle. That's for the dry.
For the nymph I use a hairs ear nymph in black. Again pretty basic.
