Big Spring Hatchery

I'm told that in the latest FBC Commissioner's meeting, a motion was passed unamnimously to remove the race ways and restore the headwaters of the stream. Don't have any more information than that. But this should create a great deal more habitat for trout. How it is done will greatly impact whether the brook trout or browns & rainbows are favored. I'm sure the FBC realizes this! All the same, bears watching for press releases etc. Any work will have a public comment period, I'm sure.
