Do you see the one in my Avatar? Yesterday I caught one that was quite a bit bigger. I'm guessing it was around 12 inces long. Fat, too. However, I didn't take a picture. I was using bait, trying to catch a catfish, and that big slab picked it up. The hook I was using was at least a 2/0, and it was still hooked fairly deep, but I got it out without too much effor or damage. Also caught a hybrid sunfish (rpobably about a pound) and a bass that weren't so lucky, but they made a nice lunch. Much better than trout.
I need to find some circle hooks.
Didn't catch any catfish this time though. The darn things get spooky in a hurry. I'm planning on taking a some more fish out before winter, but usualy throw the biggest fish back. I wanna see how big they will get.
