Better to rebuild or buy new

My son is contemplating rebuilding his 2007 Zx 190 he just realized it has a crack in the hull. Is it worth having hull repaired and putting new motor on it ? Anyone know what that cost would be or a good place to have it done?

You can repair a cracked haul.
Have a stint put into the break and lay wraps over it. I would go an 1/4 inch past the crack on both sides.
Is it the top top or butt section?
Fiberglass or graphite?

You could always send it to a good rod mechanic too.
