What are the best flows for floating the Yough from Confluence to Ohiopyle, fishing-wise?

Thanks!
Kirk

It’s fine right now. It’s good down to say roughly 800 CFS.* Below 800, it can be a lot of zig zaging and maybe a drag in spots.
* at the Ohiopyle gage

Fishing wise, the more constant the flow the better it’s been for me. That’s not to say a modest up tick or falling water can’t be good. I just try to avoid the yo-yo stuff.

Thanks! What is the max level that it still fishes good at too?

Maximum & minimum flows totally depend on the style of boat & the rower's skills.

it fishes good at all kinds of flows that aren't muddy, the fish are just catchable in different spots at 2.3 feet than they are at 5.0 feet.
