Bear paw line to leader connections?

Has anyone ever used these cheap looking things or are they garbage? They are two pieces of plastic that slide together just have a hard time believing they would hold up against a big fish.

I wouldn't trust it. I use loop to loop connections for line to leader. Its a reliable connection and allows for easy leader changes.
