Bear Creek near Francis E. Walter Dam in Wilkes Barre, PA

Hi All,

Has anyone fished Bear Creek? I am planning a weekend day trip and trying to figure out where there may be a solid place to park and wade bear creek, somewhere near the dam. I was hoping to get some places to look or places to park and wade.

Bear Creek seems to form a whole branch extending north from the FEW. There is a parking lot, a small one, along White Haven Road maybe 5 miles north of the dam. Parking for 6 or 8 cars. Look at the Natural Lands Trust Bear Creek map for parking and trails.
