2-foot alligator spotted in Darby Creek in Upper Darby, police say

The alligator was spotted at Penn Pines Park near Providence Road and swam off in the direction of Yeadon.

On another forum people were discussing pelicans being sighted in Pennsylvania. And I read that manatees are sometimes seen in the Chesapeake Bay.

I joked that alligators would be next.

Maybe it's time to move north. I heard Newfoundland is nice.

On another forum people were discussing pelicans being sighted in Pennsylvania. And I read that manatees are sometimes seen in the Chesapeake Bay.

I joked that alligators would be next.

Maybe it's time to move north. I heard Newfoundland is nice.

It always crack me up when I see like 10,458 seagulls sitting in the middle of a supermarket parking lot 150 miles from the ocean.

Must be following the trash trucks from Jersey to the landfills...

While the story describes it as Chesapeake Bay, gator was actually found and killed in an adjacent brackish pond in our neighborhood. Clearly a pet that outgrew a bathtub.
