Bass panfish and carp flies

What types of flies would I use to catch bass, panfish and carp flies? Looking for information on size, color, and type of fly.

Most trout flies will work on pan fish, 14 down to as small as you wish. Streamers and poppers are great for bass, sizes 6,4,2, and bigger. I don't know about the carp though. If you have a look see around you'll find info on the carp stuff. I suggest asking about them in the warm water section. There are some good books on flies for pan fish and bass as well.

For Bass I prefer the following, in order:
subsurface
1.) EP flies tied Bunker or Hi Tie style. 2"-6". Shad, Bluegill, Olive/white, Tan/white, Chartreuse/white, Black/purple. I don't tie these on anything less than 2/0 and the 4-6" ones see the most fishing time. I always tie on saltwater hooks so they can pull double duty.

2.) VERY long bunny strip flies in the 8-10 inch range. I prefer unweighted. I tie on #2 hooks to pull double duty on big browns. Some black, some tan Don't know why but these are almost unfair on largemouth. Strip-strip-stop....wham. They always seem to get smoked on the stop, sometimes you dont even feel it. I'll strip set if i know I dropped the fly in a good spot and didnt feel anything. If you don't tie, Barry's Pike Fly is a good option

3.) 4 inch long zonkers. Tied on #2. Any color you can think of, but ALWAYS have some black, some white, and some chartreuse. I have a whole box of these things. Trout like them too.

4.) Clousers. Everything eats clousers.

5.) The Grim Reaper or Meat Whistle. Its basically a jig n pig for fly rodders.

Surface

1.) Generic poppers, 2/0 and larger. Black, white, and Chartreuse. Some days this is all you ever need

2.) Stewart's Dancing Frog. Possibly the most obnoxious popper I've fished. flat face deerhair bug with a lot of surface area. Bass can hear it from three counties away.

3.) Big foam/rabbit hair mice. They swim more naturally than the deerhair ones and last longer. I tie an articulated one on 2/0s for bass and pike. If you dont tie, Morrish Mouse, Lynch's Whitebelly, or the Hoodrat are great.

3.) Crease fly. If you ever see bass busting shad on the surface, this fly is unstoppable.

4.) Sneaky Pete. When its calm, this fly is killer. Giant bluegill hit this one too.
