Articulated slimy sculpin

here is a slimy articulated sculpin found in most Pa. streams. done on a 3366 sz. 8 hook for rear and a 1/32 jig hook sz.8 tied with bird fur.

I like that fly. Nice job. You should change the name to "fish on".
 
That's just downright buggie looking. Bet it has great action.
 
Sand..........That looks like a fish catcher there , early spring , even when it's running high and muddy , it seems like a sculpin will often save the day , and that one looks as close to the real thing i've ever seen. When do sculpins spawn? I ask this cause on the down east spring creeks , at this time of the year (a spot on LeTort comes to mind right away) the sculpins would be out on top of the cress and weed beds chasing each other around , it was like a sign of oncoming spring , would happen every year. VERY NICE FLY!!!!

p.s. those sculpins were either fighting or f*****g
 
That's a great looking sculpin. I don't think I've ever seen a jig hook quite like that. What model is it or do you pour your own?
