Eye Tie® Fly Threader

Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt. I've tried this and another version and found them both to be just as frustrating as tried to thread the line throught the hook eye normally. I'm good down to about size 18. Beyond that, I use the sewing needle threader thingies. When I know, for example, that I am planning on encountering midges, I just string several up in the possible colors and stages I expect to find. I can do this from home using my bench magnifying glass.
