Anyone know Yellow Creek's current conditions? (Bedford County)

Likely finding myself down in Bedford next weekend and was wondering if Yellow Creek is cool enough to ethically fish for trout at the moment; has anyone been out recently? Otherwise, anyone have any smallmouth recommendations in or around Bedford? Thanks!

The upper Raystown Branch might offer up some good fishing for smallies.

I agree w/ rrt. Raystown branch for smallmouth along the Huntingdon & Broad Top rail trail, or over at Warrior's Path state park.

Sorry to horn in on this post but is the Raystown branch accessible from the H&BT rail trail and is it wade-able in this area?

This time of year, yes. In places. There are some steep banks on the trail side and some deep water, but places where you can get in. Some are very obvious. Others not so much.
