Along with fly fishing the salt, i like to plug too. I make a lot of my own plugs and add tails to a lot of them. I took a Thompson "B" and ground the jaws to fit 6/0 - 12/0 single and treble hooks to tie. Just thought some of the salt guys might be interested.. the trebles in the pics are 7/0

Bob, you have too much stuff! Sure is fun though.
 
Do you carve out the plugs to or do you get them pre made ?
 
some are carved and some are made from old chair legs...make great plugs for sure.

I recently started tying flies...Fishermen are always concerned about tying fishing line knots that give maximum strength, and rightly so....can i get some more ideas?
