Friends of mine , who own a couple of exotic parrots , have been giving me various feathers that have been molted from the parrots. Does anyone have any patterns that call for the use of parrot feathers? Beside the obvious uses i'd like to know if here are specific patterns using specific parrot feathers , just curious , i tied a few nymphs using the rusty red feathers from one bird for the wing case , i call this nymph pattern Pining for the Fijords , any others?

Can't think of any fly patterns that include parrot feathers, but I can quote Monty Python all day long ;-)
