I did the 3 hours out, 11 hours of fishing, and 3 hours back in one day that we poor SEPA guys have to do to enjoy the bounty of Centre County, but it was a good one. Caddis are still persistent, and some of the afternoon olives were pushing size 18. I landed one public water pig that must have escaped from his "demonstration purposes" role way upstream some time ago. Also, landed a beauty brown over 16 all colored up and, Mike would probably know, a bow that looked to be a fall spawning strain. Lost one good brown that popped off as I tried to turn him from a down tree. We just czech nymph all day in heavier water, but there were some steady risers mid-day. A few pics below and more on my blog (too tired for another full report this morning).
