Given the recent interest, I tied a Gordon since I'd never tied that pattern before. Slight variant as left off the teal in the wing. This one is the pattern from the Fishing Gazette.
There are maybe 10 (from memory) different versions of the Gordon Salmon Fly
Couple more to go for this project!

Absolutely beautiful. Fantastic tie, and photo

Wow! That looks absolutely amazing.

Man, that is nice!

Very nice what feathers did you use for the wing? Turkey?

Thanks for the kind words folks.

The wing is bustard, golden pheasant and dyed goose shoulder.

Well done.

I was just thinking that you had not posted a tie in a little while. Another work of art.

Thanks for sharing!

Those are absolutely beautiful. They are probably too pretty to fish in my book.

Eunan, very well done. Always look forward to your post.

That is incredible Eunan. Thinking of Megan Boyd, it occurred to me that the Scots and Irish must have a special gene for fly tying... ;-)

Beautiful!

Those are phenomenal! Works of art my friend!
