I just returned from my first trip to Colorado and wanted to recommend this book to anyone considering fishing Rocky Mountain National Park. The Author did extensive research on the park over a ten year span and it showed. With the help of this book, I was able to enjoy the back country fly fishing adventure that I had always dreamed of.
This book may be the most accurate and comprehensive guide I have ever owned. It helped me to prepare for the camping, the hiking, and the fishing. I hiked twenty-eight miles in four days and caught well over fifty fish a day. I fished lakes, pocket water and slow moving meadow streams. I was amazed at how well I was prepared to handle everything the mountains had to offer.
If you are considering a trip out west, I would strongly recommend buying the book. It was worth it for the photography alone. Here is a link:
