I’m in the market for a fairly stiff 9 ft. 5 weight rod in good condition. Since it’s not a rod that I intend to fish that much I’m budget conscious. Please let me know.

Wound up with a new Orvis Clearwater 9ft. 5 weight. I plan to fish a wt. forward 6 in Montana next August for hopper - dropper time. At the age of 72 I figure the 25 year warranty is pretty good!!

If limited use of the rod and money were considerations I would have used a good 4 or 5wt rod myself. But then again, I used 4 and 5wt rods throughout most of the summer in Montana anyway.
