The TV has ads on this "High tech" socks, good for all sorts of activities including shoveling snow. They don't talk about wicking moisture as ads for wading socks do, but the aluminized threads and nylon reflect heat back so as to keep your feet toasty warm. Has anyone had experience with this product or technology?

Les:

Sorry but I can’t speak to that particular sock, however I can speak to the best thing I ever tried, a combination of a heavy Merino wool outer sock with a thin wool liner sock underneath from Woolpower in Sweden.

I use the heaviest 600 or 800 sock with the Classic Lite as a liner

Woolpower stuff isn’t cheap, but it is top quality and IS on sale this weekend. Lots of other stuff they make is also highly recommended.

I get my Woolpower from Winter Outfitters in Camp Hill. Nice little company that gives great service.

Good luck!

Don't know about them, But I use a thin nylon sock, then a good pair of heavy wool socks over them. Been doing this for years, Hunting or fishing and my feet never have gotten cold. :-D
