Thanks for the post. I appreciate all the information that you provide to the board. As a 62 year young experienced but really know that I am not much more than a beginner/intermediate, I really appreciate everything that I can learn on this message board.

Thanks again for your posts that have helped me improve in what I love to do.

I know that I need to improve my fly casting and knot tying, and am working on that with my knot tying tools. I will take basic fly casting classes with the experts at Orvis, TCO, etc,.

I know that I can get pretty good at both because I want to. It is no different than when I wanted to be a better piano player. You have to keep practicing and staying focused.

Clint Eastwood once said in one of his movies that a man has to know his limitations. My fly fishing limitations are basic casting and knot tying.

I am focused on improving at both.

I took the basic casting class at TCO in Boiling Springs. We’ll worth it!
