Those 16oz Premium returnables were best served by my friends father who was a hard working farmer. After a long afternoon baling hay or straw, he would break open some pounders which really hit the spot! I don’t think it had anything to do with us being completely parched and maybe a bit underage! 😳

You guys just had to bring up beer. I used to live in Lehigh County in 80's and 90's. Nothing better than taking a trip to Berks County to fish and then finish the day at Stoudt's Brewing Company in Adamstown, PA. Go to Black Angus for grub and take home some Stoudt's Gold Lager. Man, I miss that place and the beer.
