Recommended Spots to Wade and Decent Chance of Fish This Fall On the Delaware

Question about parking. Looking at alot of the maps and pictures i can get from google, i know im planning on starting at the Balls Eddy launch, but after that if i plan on moving would parking at the Delaware River Club (which is closed currently) ok or should i just drive down to the bridge and fish there? Also considering going up stream to the gamelands since large game is currently closed in prep for rifle.

If I recall correctly, there's no parking on the river side of the street at Delaware River Club. You might get away with parking on their side since they're closed, but it would be akin to parking in the driveway of someone's seasonal house and just barging it. I probably would not.

Plenty of fish at 191, Balls Eddy, and Gamelands, I reckon.

Upstream of Balls Eddy, there is plenty of parking at the Upper Gamelands or Lower Gamelands spot (but wear some Orange as it is hunting season). Downstream, there is a small 2 car lot at Methodist Camp and lots of parking at Shehawken.

Just note that the latest reports are that the West Branch is brown due to the turn over of the reservoir. Reduced flows make it wadable again, but it’s brown. The East Branch is clear, but it’s a trickle. I’d fish the Main Stem from either Bard Parker on the NY side or from Stockport on the PA side.
