If it's any help, on the lower right hand corner of that pic, it says ffpc, which isn't completely visible in the pic I posted. Maybe a clue as to it's origin?

I don't know if that can be done with a specific photo, but I Googled splash dams and they showed many pics, but this particular photo wasn't among them.
