What does “controlled” mean in this context? Do tell.

Artificially controlled meaning its not a natural phenomenon. Its something we have learned to control through science when we desire. Much of it is done with frequency. I dont wanna anger the mods (this could be seen as political, for me its not) but theres a lot of evidence out there if you are willing to poke around a bit and look for it

I was just joshing him. I’m not even sure if he was being serious or joking. I answered jokingly assuming he wasn’t joking. To be clear there is zero political anything in my post. Just science and jokes.

Oh I’m not sure it works all that well. But it’s supposed to cause rain or snow.

It seemed to have quite an effect on Dubai weather. If that was indeed the cause of the floods. Up for debate. Who knows?

Just funny to me, that an old technology that we learned about in middle school science class, and has been widely used for 80 years, common farming knowledge and practice, is considered a conspiracy theory. Or new?

Kinda what reminded me of the scene from the comedy movie. We landed on the moon and used science to control weather. Both of these happened a long time ago, I thought everyone knew. One is just much more recent. The moon landing.

Now if I could just get those scientists to get it to rain a little before I go steamer fishing each time. Then I could always catch the creek on the rise! This technology is wasted on anything other than low clear creeks.

I do recall "cloud seeding" being a big topic back in the 70's. I've always been a skeptic though.
