Man, 75, 'Critical' After Hit-And-Run In Seaside Heights; Woman Charged

The man was found unconscious and seriously injured on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights, authorities said.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — A Seaside Park woman has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run Monday night in Seaside Heights that left a 75-year-old man in critical condition, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced. Genell A. Mcinaw was arrested at her home and taken to a hospital for a court-authorized blood draw, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said. (Ocean County Corrections website)

Genell A. Mcinaw, 50, has been charged with knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in serious bodily injury to another person, First Assistant Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan Jr. said.

Seaside Heights police were called to the area of Dupont Avenue and the Boulevard about 9:30 p.m. for a report of a man lying in the road and found the man unconscious with serious injuries, the prosecutor's office said.

As most know by now, on Monday evening, Sept 23, 2024, Bob was struck by a vehicle as he was crossing the street in Seaside Heights. He is still currently in critical condition at JSUMC.
